After rumours that Wenger may be departing the Emirates in the summer the game had an added edge. After Morison put Norwich ahead on the 16th minute you could well think that Arsenal would be in trouble but these are not the same Gunners that started the season... Oh no they now have confidence and when Arsenal equalised on the 26th minute you felt Arsenal were back on it.
Van Persie wasn't finished on this afternoon and added a goal on the 59th minute which ultimately finished Norwich off although there was some good chances for both teams to score.
Arsenal have another win under their belt and RVP is still flying.... Is the sky the limit for this new confident Arsenal?.

England v Spain
This weekends match has been over shadowed by FIFA and their ridiculous rulings and comments about wearing poppies but if you bypass the last few days events we still may have a prospect of a quality game?.
Spain will be bringing a strong side to Wembley so the big question is...
Can England deal with Spains passing
game? Or will we be seeing them chase the ball until the final whistle?
Is this an actual big test for England? Or just another pointless friendly?
So many questions to answer and only 90 minutes to answer them.

In light of this acheivement I wonder what sir Alex's best 11 would be out of all of the world class players that have had him as their leader.

Europa League Passion Is Back.
Watching our English sides in the Europa League this season has so far been a pleasure... At last it's being taken more seriously and we are getting great performances because of it.
I am currently watching the Fulham match and I have to day Andy Johnson and Bobby Zamora are playing superb along with the rest of the players.
I can honestly see all of the English teams Fulham, Stoke, Birmingham & Tottenham going far in this competition and that can only be a bonus for the English game, it really shows there's more to the Premierleague then the top 4.
Anyway just a short blog to say well done to the Europa League teams this year and long may their run of good performances continue.

African Cup Of Nations Tournement Draw.
Below are the groups for the African Cup of Nations, Jan 21-Feb 12 in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea:
Group A: Equatorial Guinea, Libya, Zambia, Senegal.
Group B: Ivory Coast, Sudan, Burkina Faso, Angola.
Group C: Gabon, Niger, Morocco, Tunisia.
Group D: Ghana, Botswana, Mali,
This tournament always gives league managers a headache as they lose important players at a vital time of the season but it's normally a brilliant spectacle to watch.

Are Arsenal Back?!
After beating Chelsea 5-3 Arsenal made it 8 wins in 9 games in all competitions and you could clearly see the confidence is back along with the belief. question is does this mean Champions League qualification is back on? maybe more?
Very few teams have gone to the Bridge and hit Chelsea so hard but the best thing that can happen is the the boys in red take one game at a time and see where it goes.
Whats your thoughts? Are arsenal Back?
Diouf to Doncaster.
El Hadji Diouf has had his moments in the past both good and bad but is he really going to be Doncasters knight in shinning armour? or just a novelty signing in an attempt to try and increase player and fan morale?!
The side that is currently laying 23rd in the championship will more then likely think this can only be a good signing but is that really the case?
should be interesting to see how this story unfolds.
Gerrard Out Again!.
I think the one silver lining for the fans is that it has no relevance to his former groin injury and therefore no real long term issues but whats the fans real thoughts on Gerrard's latest time on the sidelines?
Have Liverpool learned to deal without having their captain? or Is he as important as ever in their quest for success?
Bad Week for Chelsea...
- 6 goals conceded
- 2 Red cards
- 2 loses
- 1 racism investigation
Granted its not the end of the world but conceding 5 goals at the Bridge against London rivals Arsenal just didn't seem like the team we have been used to seeing since the Russian revolution began.
Where do Chelsea go from here?
The Blues will need to go and get a morale lifting victory tonight against Genk in the Champions League otherwise the away visit to Blackburn on Saturday could prove to be a very difficult task as it was when Arsenal lost to Rovers after a confidence draining start.
So are they going through a similar issue as their north London rivals or is this simply just a blip? either way the fans will be expecting an uplifting 7 days with 2 wins and if not then the restlessness could set in and that only spells bad news....
What do you think?
